I work with musicians, artists and production teams on music videos and performance-based projects, from simple location shoots through to more developed productions involving lighting, crew, multiple locations and post-production.

My background across photography, cinematography and music gives me a strong understanding of how image, performance and sound work together. The aim is not simply to make polished footage, but to create visuals that suit the identity of the artist and the music.

Music Video Production

Projects can begin at very different stages.

You may already have a treatment, director and production team in place and need a cinematographer or camera operator. Alternatively, you may have a track and an initial idea and need help developing a practical approach to producing it.

Depending on the project, I can work independently or bring together additional crew for camera, lighting, production, sound and post-production.

Cinematography

For director-led productions, I can work as cinematographer or camera operator within an existing crew.

My still-photography background strongly influences the way I approach lighting, composition and movement, while my film and television work gives me experience working within larger camera departments and structured production environments.
