I’m a Perth-based commercial photographer working with businesses, agencies and organisations across Perth and Western Australia.
With more than 16 years of professional photography experience, I create commercial, advertising and lifestyle imagery for everything from national campaigns and corporate communications to websites, annual reports, PR and social media.

Every commercial shoot is different. Sometimes there’s a detailed brief, art director and production team already in place. Other times, a business simply knows it needs better photographs and needs some help working out what those images should be.

Mining, Resources & Industrial Photography WA
Western Australia’s mining and resources sector presents some fairly unique photographic challenges.
I photograph people, workplaces, equipment, infrastructure and operations in industrial and remote environments, creating imagery for marketing, recruitment, annual reports, capability statements, websites and corporate communications.
Working on operational sites requires more than turning up with a camera. Shoots need to work around site operations, access restrictions and safety requirements while still producing photographs that are visually strong and useful to the client.
My technical and production background is particularly useful on these assignments, where being adaptable and able to work efficiently with minimal disruption matters.
Perth Lifestyle & Advertising Photography
Commercial photography doesn’t always need to look corporate.
Lifestyle photography can show your product or service being used by real people, introduce the people behind a business, or create a broader collection of natural imagery that can be used across advertising, websites and social media.
Depending on the brief, I can work with professional talent or photograph your actual staff and customers.
A large part of my job is making people comfortable in front of the camera. I keep shoots relaxed while providing enough direction to produce images that look natural rather than stiff or overly staged.

I’ve photographed businesses, executives, employees and workplaces across a wide variety of industries.
Corporate photography can include environmental portraits, staff at work, office and workplace imagery, conferences and meetings, industrial operations and photographs showing the culture of an organisation.
Rather than creating a collection of interchangeable corporate stock photographs, I aim to produce images that actually look and feel like your organisation.
Experience Working With Perth & WA Organisations
Over my career I’ve worked with businesses, government, universities, publications, arts organisations and agencies throughout Western Australia.
Clients have included organisations such as The University of Western Australia, Curtin University, Perth Airport, the Western Australian Museum and City of Kwinana, alongside national corporations, publications and agencies.
I also spent ten years freelancing for News Corp, primarily photographing for newspapers and publications in Western Australia. That experience taught me to work quickly, deal with unpredictable situations and find strong photographs without needing everything around me to be perfectly controlled.
Perth Locations & On-Site Photography
Most of my commercial photography is produced on location.
That could mean photographing inside your Perth office, restaurant or workplace, working on an industrial site, creating environmental portraits outdoors or travelling to regional and remote locations throughout Western Australia.
For projects requiring a controlled environment, studio space can also be arranged in Perth.
Larger productions can be scaled up with additional crew, including assistants, lighting technicians, producers, hair and makeup artists and other specialists as required.

Although I’m based in Perth, my work regularly takes me beyond the metropolitan area.
I’m available for assignments throughout Western Australia, including regional and remote projects where travel, equipment and production logistics can be incorporated into the shoot.
